Did I get a good deal on my 6I ?......

Just negotiated a 6i for my wife. it came with auto, ABS /Trac control pkg, Side air bag pkg, and premium pkg. Cost was $19750 with 0%, ( $18250 if I had taken rebate)

Was that a resonable price ?

First of all this is end of model year which means that you are getting a car that is already a year old so you should be getting at least $500 - $750 under invoice...

2. you are getting a mazda not a honda or toyota, where invoice price means good deals, for a mazda you should've gotten at least $500 under...

Actually the car configured to exactly how we wanted it, was extremely difficult to find. In a 30 mile radius of dealers there were about 6 cars, two of which were still in the L.A port. So twenty 6I's on every lot, isn't exactly true. And there were none in all of So Cal in our 1st color choice, which was metal gray. We settled on silver, which doesn't look to shabby either.

Car prices vary by market. My $16,000 P5 costs $17,200 in So. Cal.

Btw... my local dealer has 23 Mazda6s on the lot.

I gott an 03 6s in August of 03. Got the 6s, the only thing i wanted that they had to aftermarket install was a moonroof, but total price for everything, i added loJac, extended warrantee, leather, the homelink, moonroof, and the fog lights. i have a little of each package, i walked away $20954.00 total. But i only paid extra for the moonroof, because it didnt come with it stock.... 0% for 5 years. but i already paid it off...so thats useless... You got a good deal too.....

i think they totally screwed me on my trade it though. 01 VW Bettle with added turbo (aftermarket). They claimed it had a salvage title ( i was hit on the driver side front by a 15 year old on the freeway) but they gave me $8.5k for it...i asked for $12k?

I concur. But still no matter how much money you have, 500 bucks is 500 bucks dood even if you got millions. every 500 bucks you save, by the end of the month it's like wow
