Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the DGM front lip and the Auto Exe Lip? I think I'm blind. But anyhow, I've also found that they are almost the same price, so why not go with Auto Exe? Any info would be appreciated.

go with autoexe.
remember this, you will get what you pay for(most of time)
another forum member had DGM front lip and it got cracked while he was making slow turn so he have got rid of DGM onen's and got himself Autoexe stuff. :)

FYI........DGM CF lip is fiberglass w/ CF overlay on the bottom portion of the lip only.......

AE is urethane, but not oem car manufacturer quality.....i think it's 2 stage or something like that......but still better than FG or CF overlay that DGM uses......

i got AE but it needed A LOT of prep before painting. ie, sanding so it was flush with the bumper and the edges around the lip were jagged and needed sanding. but in the long run, its better to get urethane. my car is only dropped an inch half or so and i scrape. good luck on your purchase! - chris

Hey guys, one more thing, where can I get a genuine Auto Exe lip for a good price. The cheapest I've found so far is $415.70+tax ($450.00 otd).

Once again, thanks for the info :)

Hmm...I already sent in payment for the DG CF lip. I'm pretty damn low (or so everyone says) and now you guys have got me really worried. The only prices so far that I've found on the autoexe lip was $450+duty+shipping, whereas the DG CF was $420 shipped. Will the autoexe lip crack at all if I hit the curb while slowly parking? Will the CF DG crack with that same amount of pressure?

That's me :P

I had DGmotosport lip and it cracked when I attempt in making an U-Turn. Keep in mind that I wasn't going fast AT ALL, I had my foot on the brake the whole time going really slow thinking I could make it. In the end, fiberglass crack very easy I can tell now for sure, I don't know about Autoexe. Supposely Autoexe is mroe flexible because it's urethane, give you some space to bend a little. For example, my brother's civic OEM lip, in the beginning I was teling him it's way to expensive, it's not worth it. However, apparently he's lip lasted longer than mine! and it's urethane!

"you pay what you get for", there is a reason why Autoexe is expensive. If people that want to save money and buy cheap stuff, then expect something to happen, unless you hardly drive you car. :P

Also, like Rishie said..good stuff comes to people that wait. If you can't afford it now, save your money and wait.

I'm continually working on getting Autoexe to US much easier. Once we continue to do work with MintBlue they will bring it in for me, but I need to place at least 10g's in order everytime.

I'm working on it. Contact me. All preorders are a great help to making this happen. I'm expecting a shipment soon I pray.

Rishie,

Do you have a time frame in which you would be recieving more autoexe stuff. I've been in a GB for the CF DGM lip for almost a month now and I'm getting a little impatient. I'm also starting to become very skeptical in DG's quality after hearing numerous complaints about thier products. Thanks!

I always thought carbon fiber was strong...

But I'm thinking carbon fiber stuff is just for show anyways (not that I wouldn't mind having it) and needs a lot of care (not hitting anything or scrapping). Since I'm sure a lot of us use our pro's for daily use.

some people have cracked their autoexe's while doing test fits but i would still trust urethane more than fibergalss knockoffs =D
