DGM CF Quality?

Carbon fiber is a major b**** to work with indeed. Small bubbles and inperfections should be expected. However cracks I would say are definetly not.... cracks propigate over time really no matter what you do. And with my experiences with just about every material and any process, whether it be machining, welding, wood working, fiberglass, or in this case carbon fiber... cracks automatically fail the part, unless it can be repaired of course.

Regardless of my choice of porn, I just received a new grill from Amie and I am impressed. The quality of the replacement grill is markable improved. No irregular weaves, cracks, or extra glue sticking out.

Thumbs up for DGM customer service.

Thanks. We try. It is very difficult to deal with and we do appreciate the patience. I know how it is with perfection. I have to have all my parts at Grade A perfection. I notice every little problem. I have been leting the guys know about the miss inperfections.

I hope when I get to order my grill it'll come flawless. I understand how hard it is to make these grills but I expect nothing less than perfect from DG which seems to be top notch. My gemini hood is flawless and I expect the grill from DG to be also. Just need a few more bucks and I can order my grill and hope all goes well.

Thats nice, and I'am a repeat DG customer, but when I ordered my gauge cover, it looked like crap, like it was made on a Friday at 5:00pm...so I call back I get a replacement...well this one was made on the same Friday at 5:30pm...no difference. I gave up.
