Delsing Klunk Fix Brackets!

Both Perrin's and the AWR swaybar mount with the bushings in the stock position. The reason they are clunkless is because they come with good quality bushings. The clunk is strictly a problem of the bushings wearing out. Delsing's kit should improve any of these kit's performance. AWR's kit comes with endlinks, but the bushings are in the stock mounting location. Anyone feel free to correct me if I am mistaken I am not a suspension guru.
Im not saying your wrong but can any verify if the AWR sway bar (Or Perrin Dont know how) is clunkless after driving around with it for a while.

Well IMO nothing looks to be built as substantially as these oh so SEXY brackets.

As soon as you put out the info you can consider the money paypaled (is that a word?) I still would like to know what material the brackets are made of.

Material

Hello,

Material is ASTM SA-36 carbon steel. Pieces are precision laser cut from cad model, TIG welded by certified welder and procedure. Laterial brace is cnc press broken. Aluminum anodized spacers are 6061 T6. Main mounting hardware is 10.9 grade, high strength/quality hex head cap screws, electroless nickel plated to avoid hydrogen embrittlement and provide utmost in corrosion protection. Fasteners for bushings (hex head cap screw) are high quality gr 8 fine thread, yellow zinc dichromate. Low head hex socket cap screw used to attach lateral brace to bracket is 18-8 stainless steel.

Guys and gals, this is high quality stuff!

Godspeed!
Dave

That's good except the part about maybe not making more for fear of it being a lossed financial cause. There is nothing wrong with charging more to make it worth your time. You own the klunk fix market so make due and make more please!
Amen. I'd rather have an expensive solution than none at all.

I second/third that emotion!
This is a godsend, ironically coinciding with the end of my warranty. Very nice to see. And its also good to hear that Dave is doing well.

HEY,

First off, Antoine has been trying to get me the AV info, but we have not connected yet, he is re-trying.

Second, the end links with spacers, hardware and all ,are 75.00 for the stock suspension length and 85.00 for the longer length for lowered cars.

I am taking orders through Paypal, Money Order, and certified checks. E-mail to delsingmtsp@aol.com for order details. Paypal is quickest, but there is an additional $6.00 charge incured. Shipping/handling runs $11.00-$16.00. The first ten sets are ready to send, (end links available also),will be about a month or a bit more for the other 15 sets to be available.

As it stands now, after the initial run of 25 sets is are sold, there will be a good chance I will not be able to do another run of them. Will have to re-evaluate and see what the demand is. There is a very, very small return here on these selling them at what I am. So you can understand the need to e-evaluate.

Well, all of us along the Gulf coast are awaiting Ivan the hurricane, so I might be out of touch for a day or so if things nasty. It is in God's hands!

Thanks again!

Godspeed!
Dave

I'm definetly in for a set if any of the remaining 15 are still available and will wait patiently (well not really patiently) for a next batch if they are all spoken for. Just wanted to contribute to the demand and motivation :).
I have money set aside in PayPal ready to go, for the brackets and endlinks. Thanks Dave!

Yup I got the black bushing in last week. I really hate how summit racing charges $8 for handling and gives us "free" shipping.

Yeah, I thought the $8 fee was a bit steep for such a small item.

I'm in for the next set available!!! Let us know when you will be selling them.

For the end links, how do you know how long to make them? Do you need to know how much of a drop there is first? What if They are adjustable coilovers, do you have adjustable end links?

I'm not sure how this fixes the clunk. You used the same style braket as OE,but with a urethane bushing.

could we get more pics?maybe that would help.

by the way that looks like nice craftsmanship(I like when people put in effort to due it the best they can.)

They MOVE the bracket. Go read some old threads on it.

BTW - how exactly do we grease these things?
