Boys, the dealer where i got my car just came from a mazda conference about the Mazda 6 and some mazda people told him that well get our cars end november or early december, but a higher ranked mazda person told him NOT BEFORE FEBUARY ...at the rate they are going it may be true!!!!!

**** that, im really bored, someone tell you next week, the other one tell you in 3 months.

hey, stop acting like ******* idiots aka marketing people with us.... ( im not talking about my dealer, his doing is best... im talking about the ones WHO KNOWS.... hell... nobody knows!
:bs: :(

Aaarrggghh...I can't take these kinds of rumors anymore. I think I may have to stop reading these boards and just pick up my car when my dealer calls to say it's in. I think I might be going insane.

The longer the better......

I'm sorry to say this & I know most of you guys don't want to here this, BUT..........the longer Mazda takes to ship this car the better it is for me. I really, really, need a car now, but with all my expenses ( car, house, food, life ) I will have to say, the longer the better.....

So, to Mazda: Please by all means, take your time.............:D

I never thought the day would come, I can't believe I said that....
Must be all this waiting, has me delusional..........
I think I'm going CRAZY.......(spin)

claims the mazdaspeed has arrived

Feb in canada is just fine with me....I will pick it up in march

It doesn't really...if you read that blurb, it was obviously written a long time ago. It says the MSP will be "hitting the streets in September" which, as we all know, was a giant load of crap.

And rugged, the same is really true for me. The longer it takes, the more of a down payment I can save up, but still, I really want that car...now.

I went to my dealership today...I want to see if the MSP has the VTCS on the manifold or not.

They told me not until the beginning of December for both the MSP and the Mazda 6...

my dealer in IL already has the new mazda 6! They said they were the first around to get it. I hope this holds true with my MSP.

As I understand it...

from talking to several people at the local Mazda dealership here, they are expecting 2 MSPs per month for a total of 12. They are expecting to get 8 black ones (two per month), followed by 4 orange ones (two per month). This is to start when ever they start arriving. To paraphrase the Earthlink ad on TV: "we'll get MSPs when we get MSPs". Jim

...so it will take them 6 months to sell them all? that doesnt seem good as far as a business perspective, id want to cash in ASAP on the cars instead of just giving em 2 at a time liek noahs ark or something.

this is such bulls***, february? my dealer wont tell me s*** either, if i dont have mine by the end of the month im just gettin a wrx

Yeah all of the dealers in miami have like 2 a pop.
I think one dealer has alredy sold one, the funny thing is they said they are having a hard time selling them here

so does that mean that we will all get ours in the comming weeks? Im so confused I dont know what to belive.

I been to the Seattle auto show last Saturday and spoken to one of those top mazda person, he also said the car's been delay to Feb...but then I contacted my dealer and he said all the cars are already sitting in Tacoma port and soon will arrive (Northwest coast) He also mention that what those people meant was probably about the 2nd wave production, and there's no reason for those cars to delay for that long.....oh well....I just hope that the Feb delay news is wrong..

As I posted on another thread, the one salesman (and he's their top gun at that dealership) said they have none of the 12 sold. They have a list of 20 people that want to see/drive one before they plunk $$$ down. So getting 2 per month is a good thing for the dealer as they don't have to pay for them sitting around unsold. Mazda only gives a 2% holdback and that covers about 2-3 months of sitting on the lot before the inventory cost starts coming out of the dealer's pocket/profit. Jim

I think that Mazda is just keeping the "hype" going while they are ironing out the problems that they are having w/ parts and/or shipping. If they are really as clueless about when these things are coming in as they appear then they must really not be to well organized! They should make the most accurate estimate of when the cars will make it to dealerships and then communicate that to all of the dealerships who could then pass it on to the public.

For me the delay only increases the chances that I will buy one. I need to sell my car and then decide weather to save up for a house next year, buy a used Miata and save for a house, or sell my car and my truck and buy a MSP! Hmmmmm, tough decision!
