Well as the title says I have reached my fork in the road and I'm trying like hell to decide which bend to follow. As some of yall are aware I threw a rod back in June while on a trip for my sons wedding. Right before I was going to throw my BT setup on the motor. After towing it back home I was bound and determined to find me a block and start my build. I was looking and finally acquired a motor and have been getting things ready to go......BUT......I am beginning to rethink which direction to go here lately....DO I
A) Continue on the path I have set out on and build the block I have gotten and hope that the breakthrough we all hope is coming does (I am one of the ones who think good things are gonna happen with CP-E here shortly).
B) Sell off my parts and get a low mileage stock motor and keep my Speed6 as my nice somewhat DD. While I build my Miata (which is a blast to drive and can only be better with a little more power).
C) Return my 1990 Miata back to tip top condition and use it for my DD and look for another project car (probably a Mustang but I have always loved early Firebirds and Camaros plus my neighbor has A mint condition CRX)
The one thing that sticks in my throat is my turbo setup. I have been dying to get it on my car ever since I bought it. I was days away from putting it on the car when the motor let go. In the last few days I mocked it up on the block I bought and that might have been the wrong thing to do as I love the way it looks. [/FONT]
