Let me reintroduce myself:
I joined this forum when I got my P5. After it was stolen and totaled, I moved on to a couple of other cars (Nissan truck & Audi TT), but kept this account active because I really enjoyed my Mazda.
Recently I have started looking for a new car and the MS3 is right at the top. I am also interested in, although they are in a different category, the Legacy GT wagon and Volvo V70R. It just comes down to how much room I really need.
I stopped by Joe Meyers Mazda in Houston to check out the MS3. I found a GT in black, but when I looked at the sticker I was immediately turned off to the dealer.
There was a dealer addendum with extra charges that brought the total price to over 27k and it didn't even have nav. What did they add, you ask? Let me tell you...
Protection plan: bullshite wax and fab protector
Market adjustment: not so polite way of saying you will pay at least sticker for the car
Aftermarket wheels: no, those are the stock wheels you are charging over 2k for
Leather interior: no, that would be the factory leather on the GT model
I find it incredible that a dealer has the bawlz to charge twice for things that are on the car from the factory, things that show up on the meroni sticker. I wonder what would Mazda USA say about this?
