Dealer says Mazdaspeed perform accesorries on hold for quality issues?

Oh, and last time I called and spoke with Cobb they said that the AP for the 350Z should be out this fall, have any of you called and asked them? It can't hurt.

What about using resistors for the O2 sensor, or Sparkplug non-foulers welded in to the test pipe? As far as sound goes, stay out of high rev's if you have cops around. I basically stay out of boost when a cop is behind me.

Someone on the forums stated they were going to try the foulers but I haven't heard anything as of yet. The PCM on our car seems to be the obstacle to get over, it's very touchy and I think once that thing is figured out by the "TOP" companies, we'll be able to start making larger mods.

As of yesterday Trey had no updates posted. They just returned from GT Live a few weeks back with there MS3 and from what I understand all went well with the mods tested etc. Did or have you seen there MS3? It's awesome!

no, haven't seen the ms3 - link?

I definitely agree with you on the PCM being the obstacle which needs to be turned into an asset. Using a piggyback is a dangerous proposition when modern PCM/ECU are designed to continually adjust. I'm leaving my 350Z bone stock until Cobb has their AP available. Even then, if I'm smart - I'll wait a while to see how things go for other users before I purchase. "if I'm smart" being the active phrase up there. :)

I thought it was on there forum. Also I know they emailed me the photos from GT Live and of course I think I deleted the email. Let me dig around. It's a Black MS3 with gold wheels (I believe Advan) FMIC, CAI (short ram), coilovers, intitial AccessPort tests and other performance goodies. Like I said let me dig around my 8000 email accounts and I'll get back to you. If anything I'll contact them and ask them to resend them to me.

By the way there MS3 looks AWESOME!

I get afterfire if thats what you wan't to call it and I love it.
thats while u drive? i would get occasional pops when i had the bov vta...i would assume this is a backfire and not a afterfire? correct me if im wrong

Not trying to be a dick, but I think you are wrong. Backfire and Afterfire are described by the word. Backfire means fire went the wrong way - towards the intake - backfire is BAD. Afterfire means it went the right way - this is less bad. Mainly because your exhaust is designed to see hot temps, while your intake is not.

Unless you are catless, you should not have afterfire showing a flash out the tailpipe. If you are getting visible afterfire - you had better get things checked because this means that you've managed to soak enough fuel past your catlytic convertor(s) to get it hot enough to ignite fuel on the back end.

Just because your exhaust pops while you are revving does not mean you are getting flames back there. You could still have afterfire, but it won't be visible as the flames are going to get stopped at the catlyst. If you are catless, it's ok to have a bit of fiery flashes back there. But if you aren't catless, uhm..... I dunno.

At least that's the way I've always understood it.
