Who do you think made the motors in the Probes. I don't care if you bro is a mechanic or not just let this subjuect drop and for everyone else justdo what Mazda tells you to do.

Guess which is the Protege5 and which is the Focus ZX5. Is there even a difference? Let's see...Both 2.0L with the same Horsepower and Torque. Engine looks similar.(not quite by the way) Plus Ford owns 33.4% of Mazda and shares soooo many things with Mazda. Thus, it must be the same engine!!! Well, I'll let you decide. If you still think they're the same, I'm happy for you. A few things you need to know though. The Protege5, unfortunately will be based on the Focus with the next generation model, but just not yet. The Protege has a Type FSD engine, built in Hofu, Japan, which belongs to Mazda, not Ford, and sorry the Ford one is built in Hermosillo, Mexico. And Jhanson, for the last time, tell me if they're the same, since you're the Engineerer at Ford and all.
