Dealer refuses to change oil at 1500 miles...

no not at you. just the whole oil change thread in general. i use mobil one too. i actually do it at 4000 because i just can't bring myself to go 5000+ like the manual says and i drive hard.

I had my oil changed at 1,000 miles (free service)

what I got from my dealer......

changed my Jetta's at 1500......

i follow the VW's service manual for service which is about 5K with dino oil and

i do the P5's between 5-8K with mobil 1.

i changed my oil last week and i was way over due. my mobil one was much darker than it usually is.....i was probaly around 8K.....

I've gone 10k on my wife's Regal GS and typically 7k on that car. It's got 100k on the clock, running great and doesn't consume more than about 1/2 quart between changes.

my father goes pretty long between changes on dino oil 1(0+K); he drives his cars to high milage with no trouble.....as long as you make sure it is not low, can't be that bad!

Well, maybe you should act like it and maybe even speak like it. Stop thinking too highly of yourself. Why not advise instead of insult since you have so much knowledge? If you say jump and they say how high there, why don't you do the same here? If you inform, they'll listen and ask questions. Stop talking like you have a pencil up your ass just because you have a damn degree.

I think you need to stop your crying....Half this thread is taken up by your whining, I hadnt been on this site in some time and just reading this thread is making me want to sell my car and never come back.....
