DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) is my new workout plan...

I remember when I was so into that game, I still have friends who can AAA full combo all the MAX songs.

I don't care if it looks silly...it's fun and that's all that matters to me. Perhaps you should look at why you live your life being worried about what others think rather than doing what you like.

Ever think that there are jobs where, if you were seen doing something stupid it would effect how you are percieved?

i don't think having fun in front of a crowd on a DDR machine is stupid, heck, if you are good and hits the majority of the notes, people will actually think you're pretty good at this game!

I know I always appreciate watching an expert DDRer doing his thing :)

the n00bs, however, are a different story :D, but I still give them props for willing to face the crowd :)

And I'm sure you have a DDR machine at your place of work right?? And if not, then no I don't think anybody would care if you were in an arcade with a bunch of other video games and playing a dancing game. Go back to being angst-filled and hating anything that might be fun. kthxbye.

It is cool to go to an arcade and play a 7 or 8 foot song and gather a crowd. When I see some of the real good players do a 9 footer, it always motivates me to go out and practice more! :)

Hell yeah! Ceej, what's up mayn? Who cares what other people thinks of my workout plan? MMkay? I started playing this game at a job-related function. I used to look really terrible doing DDR because for the 1st month I played, I would stand on the center metal square and jump back and forth from there. I couldn't play any of the faster songs until some folks who worked at the arcade showed me how to start from the two side arrows, and just step where I need to step so I don't waste energy. I learned to turn my body, and am a lot lighter on my feet. If I had known that in the beginning, I probably would have started Standard Mode a month ago. My little bro is now on light mode after about 2-3 weeks because he had me to show him up front the better way to play. I'm getting a workout, and on light mode, I still draw crowds.

Well, I played like 2 1/2 hours of DDR at Speedzone yesterday. I did mostly Standard Mode songs, and had a lot of success. "Sync," "Healing Vision" are a couple of songs I had some success with. I can't remember the others, but "Captian Jack" on Standard Mode ******* owned me. :(

Aced "Sync" in Standard Mode yesterday. Sweet! More progress! 1 hour on Standard Mode makes me tired quicker. Alright! (thumb)

AHAHAH my bro is crazy at ddr (hes 21 almost 22) and he does the 2 mats at once its crazy and he gets A's on both its crazy

Are you kidding???? - How have you not played DDR? I've got a mad duct taped to my living room floor. I catch endless abuse from some of my friends about it.

It's the latest in Geek Style! lol.
