DDM Tuning Apexcone Raptor HID Kit - $30 plus shipping

I have the 35w h7 6000k 65.00 1 yr warranty set + 20.00 battery harness & it's just off white almost greenish blue but def not all the way blue. Amazing difference, can't see how they won't be stellar in any weather. Just ordered a 35w h10 6000k set for the fogs in the Tacoma. Fat ballast easy to hide in truck, lifetime warranty nice for 40.00 shipped.

Full Kit Includes:
- Raptor Ballast (2)
- HID Bulbs (2)
- Free Lifetime Warranty (1)
**Make sure you select your OPTIONS**

Actually it says this.....so does that mean it's a lifetime warranty and not just a year?
And there's no battery hook up?

I'd seriously recommend getting the battery harness. It's cheap insurance. Seriously, $20 and 5 extra minutes of install could potentially save you a ton of headaches when your stock headlight wiring melts. It's not the amount of draw the 35W kit draws when it's fully powered, it's how much draw comes when the ballasts initially fire.

This explains the need very well: http://faqlight.carpassion.info/headlamp-harness.html

So where could I get a battery harness then? And would you recommend buying a new battery? Mines kinda low on juice, I'd done a lot of jumpstarts in my days.

Guessing you ordered 5k? If so, I think you would be happy with it. I do a lot of night driving and have no issues with the lighting.

ive had my HID's for over a year, and i havent had any problems at all, the power they draw at start up is higher then the stock light bulbs but how long does that last? maybe 2-5 seconds?
the only problem (if its even a problem) ive ever had was i went to turn on my head lights and only one ballast fired, so i only had one headlight, but i turned my headlights off and back on and the other one lit up
that was once like 5 months ago, i think the connection was loose though

and i have a 6000K on my bike, for about 6-7 months now and its doing fine too

Just like "justanothermp5" said, I haven't had problems with my wiring either. I highly doubt the 35W is enough to melt the wiring. I did use conduction (di-electric) grease though, which pretty much "amplifies" the power current.

Get the 20.00 battery harness off ddmtuning site - wait! just saw it's on sale for 15.00 last night when ordering the h10 kit for the fogs on my truck. Only get a new battery if the car starting on a regular basis is an issue.

UPDATE: The Raptor kit now comes with larger ballasts instead of the slims, but come with a LIFETIME warranty.

If you placed the order before the page was changed, you should be getting the slim kit with a one-year.

I bought the grease at O'Reilly's, you can find it there or at Autozone, Pep Boys, Advanced Auto Parts, etc. It's called di-electric grease.
