IA_Rogue the needle base comes stock in silver on the 2003.5 MSPs. Nice Jersey! I have the same brushed rings. I like the reflection off them at night, it's a trip.

do you have to push the light to the brightes (sp) to get the reflection?

I got mine from the gb, didnt install them yet .... weather is bad in montreal!!!!!!!!!!

nope... of course it depends on how much reflection you want.

Compared to the brushed rings, my polished ones don't seem to reflect as much. I'll have pics tomorrow taken in the dark. They look nice though.

pardon me? the polished don't seem to reflect as much compare to the brushed?

Hummm...usually polished should reflect more ... no? (uhm)

that's what i would have thought too.. but after looking at the pics of the brushed rings, it doesnt look like it.

at night, the brushed rings shine evenly. the polished ones shine more like a mirror, making it seem like it shines less, but in fact, it reflects more defined light. either way, it looks really sweet.

there ya go.. i couldn't think of the right way to say it. lol thanks

Wasn't exactly night... best i've got right now.

You can see how defined the reflection is where the gas and temp lights are.

press fit. you just press it on and it stays put. the tolerances have it so it fits EXACTLY and will not come loose under normal circumstances. now if you are fond of flipping your car, it might come loose, but otherwise, even harsh driving conditions are no match for how tight these fit.
