Dashhawk Mounting Solutions...pics please!

To those of you running a DH in your 6/MS6, can you please post up pics where you have them and how they are mounted? I just received mine today and can't seem to decide where to install it quite yet. I've seen them on the steering column, in the ashtray, and on the defrost vent, but I'm more interested in how you mounted them in each place. Please provide detailed info if possible.

I don't have pics, so this post is prob useless (and the car is currently 250 miles away from me), but I posted mine on the dash, inbetween the instrument cluster and the middle center stack vents with nothing more than velcro. I ran the cord down the steering column. I like it because it is close enough to read the 4-gauge screen without squinting, and it is in plain sight so I dont have to bend my head everytime I want to look at it. Plus, its color matched which is nice

Nice, what are your color settings? I'm running mine at 255 R 10 G 0 B currently and that seems to be pretty close.

I mounted mine with the little silver bracket and some industrial strength velcro on top of the steering column. I may move it down the road, but its a start.

Yes, I was originally in the group buy, but the price didn't come down low enough and I wasn't going to wait. A deal came up and I picked up one for $200 new.

Long story, I had to do some legwork to get the price as cheap as I did. I mounted mine in the ashtray, but didn't like looking down to see things.

I had mine in the ashtray, but I didnt like having to take my eyes off the road to see it. Plus, the font was too small for my likes, and it blocked the cig lighter.

I don't know the color choice I used .. The car is back home, and I dont have the settings on the laptop
