Das Mopar No-cut map clamp

"Installation should only take around 30 minutes. It involves running the wires and soldering only 3 wires on the map sensor wire harness which is also 3 wires. You do not cut any wires. What you will need to do is strip a spot on the 3 wires going to the map sensor and solder the wires from the map clamp to them as it shows in the directions that are sent with them".

You are still making irreversible and permanent changes to the vehicle. I dont think a dealer would change their view point because you stripped a wire as apposed to cutting one.

Im not saying dont buy it, Im only saying I dont see the difference.

I ended up going with a 17 dollar ebay one that others on this forum are using, the aobe? something like that. It hooks up the same way, I should have done some more searching before posting. What are you guys feelings about all weather t-taps like in car stereo stuff? would save stripping a larger portion of insulation. I have access to all kinds of weather proofing stuff from work too. I work on remotely controlled subsea robots, environmental protection is paramount.
Just ordered the prosport electric boost gauge, turbosmart mbc, and map clamp. Have installed: forge bpv, injen cai, corksport cat back and test pipe.

If you find the heat shrink version of T-Taps, they willl be ok. They are on ebay as well.

This is what a skinned and soldered joint should look like when finished.
