So this is where the fist snowfall in NH has left me. With all the BS that has happened since I bought this car, I really hope it's totaled!!!

*That dent in the quater panel is from sheer frustration *

ouch....

I don't understand why you would be driving around in an msp in NH. I lived in NH for over 3 years and an msp is probably the last car I would want to drive in the winter. i would at least have a winter beater 4x4 or move to a state like florida where you can drive it year round.

Well, because I am a moron and bought my last g/f a car (which left me broke). Now, I just had to buy my new g/f (that thankfully "puts out") a car so she can get to work. Plus I am in the process of buying a house so extra $$$ is not an option.

that sucks man...unfortunately it doesnt look like its totalled...I hit a deer on superbowl sunday 2 years ago going about 85 and it crushed the whole front end and left my car spewing fluids all over the highway...and even then it was still not totalled.

Pay off the claims adjuster and you can get a MS6..AWD for those NE winters!

i live way north of you guys.. like right now there is 10 inches on the ground and below 32 degree temp.. the car is in the driveway and it won't move from there much... those cars are not winter friendly.. to a point that i might sell it this spring...

sorry for the crash dude..

While that definitely does suck .. I can't say that I feel too badly for you. You obviously hate the car, so I don't know why you didn't just do the sensible thing and sell it for something else.

Not to mention that I have NO idea why you're buying cars for your girlfriends. And that I also have no idea why you think it's okay to be driving the MSP on stock wheels with what I assume to be stock tires. Hell, even if the tires are 'all season', that's still not appropriate for NH. I live in PA, and I have sets of both winter and summer shoes.

You screwed yourself over, really.

ditto - and, snow tires are a MUST, not an option

At least you didn't kick the OP when he was down...
/sarcasm

In any case StreetStyle, just be glad that you weren't hurt or killed. That tree looks small, but it would not have moved no matter how fast you were going...

i got 15" steelies for mine last winter with spiked winter tires.. and the car just eat through them.. it's not a very good winter car.. no traction and no comfort.

Definately not totalled man..sorry..but they are gonna fix that for sure.
Sorry it happened though.

I know it's not totaled, but it is worse then it looks...plus I am praying that some "act of God" will total it. As for buying my X a car, I had the extra $$$ and I was trying to help her out. The only reason I haven't sold it is because I am way too upside down. I would lose so much money if I sold it or traded it in to a dealership. Yes, I do hate this car. I have never had more problems in my life then I have had with this car. The only good thing I can say about the car is that I think it is one of the best looking cars I have ever seen. However, do you really need snow tires? No. I know I'm gonna get the, "Well, if you bought snow tires..." so please spare me. I bet snow tires provide somewhat better traction, but for the most part just don't drive like an ass...and be cautious. What happened was I came around a corner at approximately 15-20 mph and hit a slick spot...and at that point there wasn't much I could...snow can be very unpredictable.

Thank you. I mean geez sorry I crashed. I didn't realize I'd get so much ridicule for telling my story...but in the end I'm getting ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you part it out I'll take the wheels/brakes/hubs and spindles.

Sucks to hear, it's always a bummer when a Prote crashes. Glad you are ok though.

MSP + Nokain Hakka IIs w/studs = Better traction then a snow plow.

and you NEEEEEEDDDD snow tires when you have factory equipted, high performance, Z-rated summer tires. They are not an all season tire so you have absolutely no traction with them in the winter like you would have got with your former civic or whatever. So unless you bought very good all season tire as a replaceent, then snow tires are a must. Had you had a decent all season or a snow tire, you would have been fine.

THis would go for any car setup for handling/performance.

Uh .. huh ..

Sorry, but if you were expecting sympathy for wrecking when you're cruising around on rubber that's completely inappropriate for the conditions where you live .. you're not gonna get it from me. Shrug.
