Currently the car is waiting on getting moved into the new shop for it to get the brakes installed and the electric cutout welded in. We are moving this weekend so its probably going to be a week or so at least. Other than that, the car is going to get buffed on the first week of march and then i'm going to start applying the Zaino. The paint should have set up by then.

The total on the bill? For the winter rebuild or the entire car? Hell, either way, i don't really want to think about that.

total, askiing out of curiosity, cause I was thinking of going the same route once the warranty expired, but keeping alot of the components stock

I dont have the exact figures... but its something like 33k in parts, 6k in labor, and 16k for the car... (boom07)

Matt, **** all this car s***, you should've been working at that meat processing plant. $$$$

nope. its on the things to do list, and i did buy one, but apparently it was the wrong (non-emission) spec one and it didnt fit. So i'm still looking for another.

Nothing big, but just to let you know whats going on with the car.

Basically, Transonic's lease ended so we had to move shop over the past week and i've been up to my knees in engines, cars, and car parts for the past week. Some pics of the new place right after we just dumped everything there and hadnt started rearranging. Basically, this is whats holding us up, we need the shop in working order first before we can start working on the car so the past month has just been liquidating old stuff at the old shop, finding a new location, and getting everything to that spot.

Were gonna wait on the cutout until the manifold arrives because the DP needs to be removed for both installs, so we might as well kill two birds with one stone. And i still have about 30 days left on my manifold wait time, so we'll just have to wait and see.

- Brakes SHOULD be going on relatively soon (next week).
- Car is finally getting buffed on Monday (the 13th).
- Zaino'ed the 14th.

Some pics of the new shop.
All the crap there:
