Well, here it is, installed and working perfectly, many thanks to Matt from Dabears2k for his quick shipping  .

Here it is in all it's glory.

Best sound BOV in my opinion, functions perfectly and holds boost at much higher RPMs, where the stock bpv leaked.(no)

I hate you west coast bastards!!!! (mine won't arrive until Friday)

How did your install end up going?

Pretty well, my car is a 2008.5 so my hoses were slightly larger (pissed) , but with some shaving on the recirc hose and a screw down clamp, I was rollin (guitar)

Bahhh Mine wont even ship until today or tomorrow. Do u feel as though the car is holding boost better, i mean butt dyno? Or did u monitor it with a dashhawk or AP and actually see it holding more boost. I'm pumped to get this on my car for next weeks dyno day i'm going to.

butt dyno, it definitely felt stronger in the higher rpm range. Seems to be holding boost much better than stock at higher rpms, that's how I can describe it

So it doesnt fit the 08.5 with cobb sri installed without some minor modifications? How much did you have to cut off the recirc hose.

Couple of Qs: does it clear the TMIC cover without issues? Also, how much of the recirc hose did you shave? Enough that if I needed to reinstall the stock BPV for warranty purposes, it won't fit?

i like that sound a lot. you said you shaved the recirc hose, i'm assuming you're running this valve recirced?

When you get the BOV, there will be a need on the unit that the recirculation hose connects to, all I had to do was shave a few even top layers of the hose, just the tip though, so that I could push the hole into the recirculation pipe further down. Then I screw down clamped it , and on the intake hose, I just used another screw-down clamp and everything worked perfectly. The modifications took no more than....1-2 minutes (band2)

Yes, it clears the TMIC cover without any issues, it will touch slightly, but it doesn't completely get in the way of the TMIC cover. I only shaved the tip of the hose...it didn't cut it, so it will fit the stock BPV if u need to replace it for whatever reason

Yeah, I wouldn't run it in VAT anyways, it is louder in recirc mode, much louder than the stock BPV, running it in VAT would yield some rediculousely loud results....(chair)
