CX-9 Pioneer 3800 and Maestro Upgrade

I've got a 2015 CX-9 that has the bose emblem on the door panels so I guess it has the bose amp in it. I wanna put a pioneer 3800nex and a maestro rr in. I got necessary harnesses for both. I was told they were all I needed to do the install but crutchfield says it won't be compatible. Everywhere I look to keep the clock functions or change the lcd display I need the pac rp4. And the axxss harness for the backup cam. I'm wondering if anyone has seen the differences in functions without the pac because I don't wanna get it if I don't need it.

Maestro's website says that it can change the vehicle settings and do the backup cam, so you should be good to go. Contact them directly and verify. They are super helpful.

For what it's worth, Crutchfield said that the Maestro RR wasn't compatible with my CX-5 at all, which was completely contrary to what was listed on iDataLink's website. I contacted Crutchfield tech support directly, they said "Hold On", and then the discovered that their website was indeed incorrect, and the Maestro does work fine.

Personally I love the Maestro. I just wish they made an AR for the newer Mazdas!

Maestro says it's compatible with the cx9 without the bose but I've never seen a bose amp anywhere in the vehicle. On one hand I wanna just shoot my shot and hope it works but i don't wanna find myself halfway through it and need to stop cuz it doesn't fit.
