I have a 2012 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring Sport. Bought it used. Came with the VOXX HR 7012 Entertainment Unit. The unit works fine, except for the GAME function. Nothing comes up on the screen, yet I have both game controllers in the car. Call to VOXX suggested the games are actually in a SDMI card which is installed on the side of the unit. Perhaps it is missing or became dislodged. Sounds like an easy enough diagnosis, right? WRONG!

HOW the heck does one FIND where the unit is installed?? It is NOT in the rear wheel well in the back. Cords SEEM to indicate it is under the driver's seat. Can't find any way to remove the carpets from under the driver's seat without removing the entire front seat. Perhaps it is under the rear center console?

I previously had some VWs and all I had to do was go on youtube and I could find videos on how to do almost anything! Replace valve covers? Here's the video! Tried to google on how to remove the stupid rear center console and NOTHING! Doesn't anyone work on their CX-9s?? Doesn't anyone take off their own door panels after a credit card falls into it? etc? They're not a Lexus or a Ferrari! Can someone advise me as to where I might find good quality instructions on, what I consider, simple projects like described above? Thanks for your consideration!
