2007~2015: CX-9 Power seat will not move forward

Hi

The passenger power seat has stopped moving forward and back.

It will go up and down just not front to back.

Any obvious troubleshooting?

Likely power is getting to the switch since the seat moves in other directions. Most likely narrows it down to the switch or motor. If you can, remove the connector at the forward/back motor and test for power at the connector when activating the switch. A test light should be sufficient for this. If there is power there then likely it's the motor, no power supplied points to a defective switch.

@acolic I'm having a similar issue. Front passenger seat won't move forward or backward, only up and down. The horizontal lever feels loose. Ever figure out what the issue was?
