CX-5 (possibly) Broken Into

Not sure if they got in but the door lock cylinder is punched on our '24 CX-5.

Do late model CX-5s have a factory audible alarm that triggers when a door is forced open or is it simply a silent deactivation security system?

And, If the door was indeed forced open would there not be an alert when we turned on the ignition?

Also, I assume that I can simply replace the lock cylinder but the key will be different. I've had to do this on my CRV before.

no alarms and no security systems on US models for just opening a door.

Only thing that comes to mind is may be if using the connected/online services and the mazda App. May be it can send notification to your phone.

Really? If you ask the internet it says they come equipped with a factory alert system that beeps the horn extra loud and flashes the lights if the doors, hood, or hatch are opened. I have a hard time believing that not every single modern vehicle has this.

I guess I should test it out. My CRV certainly has it.
