I appreciate the followup. I'll update what happens tomorrow. I suspect my wallet to be several hundred dollars lighter though for some reason... I will mention the o2 sensor as well

Just an update. I noticed yesterday night that the air filter housing was not secure. I suspect this happened a few months back when I replaced the air filter. I still took it to the dealer to get them to diagnose it properly and yep it was the loose air filter housing that caused the check engine light. They cleared the code and sent me on my way after $110. I like having the peace of mind, but I am still upset with myself that I caused it. The dealer always up charges for filter changes and was trying to save money by doing it myself = /
Oh well, I am glad it was not something more serious and involved!

Yea it sucked. Since I "caused" the problem by changing the filter they would not waive it. Of course they tried to up sell all these additional services too.
- 30,000 mile service $399
- Brake fluid flush $150
- Throttle body cleaning $180
I asked the service manager if any of these were needed or urgent to have done. He said "no, we just recommended these as routine maintenance." He did mention that my brake fluid looked dirty, so I may get a second opinion to see if that is really needed. I politely told him no and went on my way. Sheesh!
