CX-5 Owner ages?

You're right that it was quick. 😂
It's called mazdaforum.com . They have many sub forums that vary on topic and are also model specific. There is a CX-5 sub forum. You can take a look without creating an account there. It'll be very quick who I'm referring to when you read through any of the threads.

65 here. Bought my first CX-5 brand new in 2017. It was totaled in February so just bought a new 2025 last month.

I agree with your assessment of the arrogance displayed on the mazdaforum website. Some of those comments are totally uncalled for.

I also frequent the CX-5 Reddit (just reading, no posting). It does seem the crowd is younger there but there is a lot of good information and helpful commentary.

I am surprised to be the youngest person here so far. But that may be more of a forum vs social media thing also.
Ditto! I’ll take the crown at 38, anybody else able to top that? 😄 CX-5 is an awesome family vehicle. Bought our ‘13 2.0L brand new and had many happy years of ownership. Our oldest daughter came home in that CX-5 after she was born. Miss that car every day, glad we got the ‘23 to keep Mazda ownership in our immediate family. Wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up with our kids when they’re driving age, time will tell.

Another old guy here and I'm surprised but happy to see so many vintage members!

only a handful of younger people responded on FB CX5 Club (USA) which seems to be a pretty active group with lots of posters. lots of older people and surprisingly a lot of older turbo guys and gals. Some pretty cool responses all and all. one person posted they have 650,000 miles on a na version and lots of 80+ turbo owners. I think the youngest was 19 and a couple of 21 year olds.

I had to look Davros up and went to the mazdaforum to see who it was lol.
I was curious and kept reading. He owns or runs a shop in the gold country part of northern California and claims to be an authorized independent "warranty" service technician. I thought warranty service is available only through dealerships? Anyway, I would understand God complex from engineers/mechanics who led the 787B to win in 1991. Otherwise, it is very confusing.

I think I remember posts from you back in the day! I had a 2013 2.0 ltr also and was active on this (or similar) forum back then. Sold it in early 2019 to downsize to a Mazda 3 hatch. My wife then bought another CX-5 in 2023.

How about you create a poll with categories set at 5 years spans. Then we can vote on our age groups. Data is key!
pretty interesting looking at the FB responses. I don't thing there is really enough traffic here that poll would shed much light. as our pool so far has 19 or so actual responses with ages given, but based on the responses definitely an older person's rig regardless of turbo or na...
