CX-5 Fuel Leak Recall and Stop Sale

Our CX-5 hasn't done the recall yet. I did try to find the bolt in question yesterday when I had a chance as my wife is the daily driver. But I couldn't find it even though I followed the left-rear shock absorber as the reference point. It seems the filler pipe is hidden behind the plastic wheel well liner.

That's a pretty shocking admission from someone who previously accused Mazda of taking shortcuts with the recall instead of fixing it properly!

I mean, if you can't even locate the bolt in question, how could you be in a position to judge the merits of the fix?

I use "common sense", something many posters in this and another related thread are using other than you. As I said before, the bolt in question has its purpose for the bracket holding the filler pipe, or Mazda wouldn't spend a penny for it at beginning! And Mazda has used a plastic fastener, replacing this bolt, and a rubber pad for new CX-5 production which means holding the filler pipe is necessary! By seeing this post by Kinghardcor today, it indeed proved my point.

Unfortunately your defense for Mazda to this recall with all of your "assumptions" seems to be falling apart one by one, the only thing left for you is doing some personal attacks!
