CX-5 front windows tint

I'm in a french island in the Caribbeans. We have sun all year long, and high temperatures (30 C average).
I put 15% all over : it's darker on rear windows because of the stock tint. I love it.
We can't put anything on the front windshield. But I put a strip on it too !

If I see the cops, I roll down the windows. That's it.
My window tint is legal but I know cops don't like that, they want to know who is in the car and what is going on before they do anything.

I am in Maryland as well and will be getting mine tinted. I believe 20% is too dark for here in Maryland. Think I've always done like 30% or something around there.

another baltimore guy and have dealt with the police on my tinted cars . on truck or suv the front 2 windows can go down to 35% but all windows have a little tint weather you can see it or not so if you chose 35% you will read 32% or something i forget but they will make you strip it if they see it .normally they give you a work order for tint . i will check but i did 45% on my car to get it as close to 35 without going under but its not a 3M film .if you want 3M yes you need 50% i think it is and thats to light of a tint .
. no matter what the front windshield can not be tinted but i see a lot of people doing it now even ex cop i know . from what he said the cops dont ever test the front windshield
so if you do it dont do more then 35%
all back windows can be blacked out if you want .{ON CX5} NOT CARS .
if you want to know what your windows are before you tint the fronts go to state police at DMV in glen burnie they got laser tint meter and can tell you . had to go there for work orders a couple times .

if you chose 20% on the front 2 windows and get pulled over turn on all your lights and WIND DOWN THE FRONT 2 WINDOWS !!!!! this help them cops see inside the car and hide the 2 front windows at the same time . i did this for a long time till my girl got pulled over and forgot to wind down the windows :-( .

i just did my front 2 at 35% and its close to the backs . the backs look a tad bit darker but cant really tell . i want it darker but my girl doesn't :-( pics when my phone charges .
