The CX30 has a design flaw in that the cup holder area is not adequately lit at night. To rectify this, I conceived a solution.

Everything was soldered, heat shrink, wireloom, etc..

So I did this...

... but in order to get it done, I had to take almost everything literally apart.

I made sure the light is centered...

I then tap'd into the ECU white wire to get the ACC power.

So, since I was in there already.... I went ahead and added the t-harness and installed the Evo One.

Here's the video of me testing the Evo One Remote Start.

Here’s the pic of the light at night…. I can’t complain.

That's it. It was a very productive day.

...

Since I had a dual zone proximity sensor, without the 4 to 3 pin wire, I decided to solder the wire directly to the pins.

I plan on testing this out this weekend and see how it goes.

Here's a pic of the Omega AU-94TM Proximity Sensor.

I dry fitted and tested it out and works great! It does the warn-away (2 beeps) and full alarm without any issues.

Below is the link... WARNING - LOWER YOUR DEVICE VOLUME BEFORE WATCHING IT.

I need to do the final install and adjust the sensitivity setting and lower it down a little.
