Cut the Bumpstops or not?

Just received the Racing Beat Springs and Tokico HP shocks/struts. Should I cut the bumpstops? Racing Beat's website shows a 3/4" drop in the front, and a little more in the rear. I called Racing Beat, and after two of them discussed it, they suggested I trim about 3/4" off, but they didn't seem too sure. Again, anyone with 1st hand knowledge? Thanks.(uhm)

first, welcome to the board, as i am originally from pittsburgh before i joined the army. my dad has had season tix to the pens since i can remember and i played ice hockey all throughout high school.

anyhow. you might want to pm the member equinox, he has the Tokico Illuminas and had to cut the bumpstop...he said he had to cut them in half almost i think. anyways, i know its not the same exact setup, but hopefully that helps.

Thanks for the welcome. I've followed the Pens since about '88 or so...although they are sucking wind this year. I guess you could say they're a bunch of jagoffs this year. Now everyone who isn't from the Burgh will wonder what the hell I'm talking about.

Actually, his post was what triggered my asking Racing Beat. It looks like his springs drop the car alot more than what mine will. I probably will just trim a little off, but I'm open to more input! Thanks again!
