Custom Turbo Q&A

Both of you guys are pretty hot commodities right now. Good luck on your businesses. Now get back to us because we are all very eager to get started. Hury, hury, hury!

I'm just curious as to why you two aren't allowed to just post the prices...even if it's just in the For Sale area or whatever. It would sure save having to send out a ton of emails and have us all flooding your inboxes with questions about pricing. :D

Yes, as a moderator I give you permission to post the prices! hehe. Seriously, that rule is mainly for people who try to come on here and flood the boards with info on the products they sell, sort of like advertising. I don't see why you guys shouldn't be able to post just a price of a turbo manifold you are making. You are doing the MP3 community a favor in making these, you are not trying to make a business out of it or make a huge profit.

I really don't see Enry or Antoine making a big deal outa it.

Hello guys!
Well since I got the ok on the pricing here it goes.....this is an email that I have sent several people inquiring about the manifolds and turbos. I have just recieved another deposit on a manifold and will be working on that for now. Unfortunatly these are handcrafted custom made products that take time to make. I will try to get make abig batch so I can have some ready in advance for the future. The kits can be made quickly ie. chrge piping ect but the manifolds take some time. My website is already done and I have spoke to Antoine about advertising on the forum......so hopefully everything will be up and running very soon.

Hello,
Here are the prices on the manifold, non-intercooled turbo kit, turbo starter kit.

The turbo manifold is constructed of cast iron which is very strong and can withhold the strong environment that a turbo produces. The manifold is also tubular that allows for ultra responsivness and maximum spool characteristics. The price of the manifold is $700.00 u.s. and will fit a t3 turbocharger.

The turbo starter kit will include manifold, t3 blueprinted turbo and all oil lines and fittings. This will also include a free complimentry ceramic coating, for $1500.00 u.s.

The non-intercooled kit will cost $2300.00 u.s. and will iclude everything! to run a nice 5-6psi. Kit will include:
manifold,turbo,oil lines
fmu
bov
bov flange
air filter
charge pipes
fuel pump
all hardware, nuts, bolts, hosing ect.

another email I sent out

Its 700 dollars for the manifold without ceramic coating. You get free ceramic coating on the turbo starter kit that is 1500 dollars. That includes the manifold(free ceramic coating) t3 blueprinted turbo and all necessary oil lines and fittings. I understand you are trying to keep cost down but you will have to buy the turbo and lines eventually, And I am offering pretty compettitive pricing on the turbo. Here is a breakdown
Turbo Manifold 700
Ceramic Coating 100
T3 Turbo blueprinted 800
All stainless braided oil lines and aircraft quality fittings 100
This would be the prices if you buy everything seperate which totals $1700.00. So I am saving you $200 dollars with my starter kit. And if you really interested. I may be able to discount the price a bit more from the $1500.00 special price.
Thanks Spoolin

See, that wasn't so bad. Just leave it to this thread and don't go replying to every thread trying to push your product :) Of course you wouldn't do that, you are a cool guy hehe.

OK well my manifold will run about 300 if I decide to do it. It will be made out of 3/8" steel flanges and Schedual 40 weld-els. it is a log style and has good flow and quick spool. The flange will be for any mitsu turbo out there as they all pretty much use a TD05H turbine.

Non intercooled kit!

How much time do you need to have a Non intercooled Kit Ready?
Thats $2,300.00 right?

You already have a customer.....Me!

Thanks:D

A couple things....I think both you and chdesign should perhaps start a new topic here in the FI form just with the mention of the item for sale....it's not spamming I'd say...it's just that a lot of people who may be interested or whatever may not even know to come into this thread to find out the info....just a thought.

Second....just to understand it directly because I'm really green at this....when you speak of the manifold you are referring to this one? :

The reason I ask is more to do with the turbo itself....orignally you were going to go with a T3 turbo but you dropped it right? And then you had a different turbonetics manifold but the new 16G turbo was unable to match up with the old manifold so you made the tubular one....so I am just unsure if that means that either the T3 or the 16G can be mated to the tubular manifold if I decided that's all I wanted to purchase right now......as well I asked this elsewhere already, but which turbo is "better" the T3 or the 16G? I'm looking for something with pretty low end spoolup as well as potential for a good amount of output...

Thanks for your time.

To awnser your questions.
It would take me about 2-3 weeks to get u the intercooled kit shipped to your door. And its 2300 for the whole kit.

To awnser bigblue....yes that will be the manifold but in silver with heat coating, but it will not fit a 16g. Reason being is because garrett turbos are very popular and vastly available. I went with a 16g because I guess I wanted to be different and I like mitsu turbos. Another reason is that t3's have more options. I can get one for quick spool up or on the other end of the spectrum. The industry seems to like and use garrett turbos so I am just following along. Thats why I am not making a 16g kit. But hell if thats what you guys really want then I will make the kit with the 16g:D

But again the manifold will look just like mine.
Remember a t3 can come in many different variations and can range vastly in spool up times and high end hp. If you want something different I can custom tailor the t3 to your needs. Picking a turbo for an engine application is an exact science. You need to look at a lot of variables inorger to determine a proper turbo. I did not just whimsicaly pick the t3. And this reason being I ultimatly chose the t3....because of the wide range of possibilities.

So the intercooled kit is $2300? I thought that was the non-intercooled kit. Will you sell a kit without the turbo? If so I'm all in, I'll get you a deposit as soon as possible. Let me know something. Here is my email. bcordle@halff.com
If you emailed me anytime from last thursday to yesterday, I didn't get it because of problems with my works server. Let me know something, I'm excited!

Dude spoolin i was looking at your manifold carefully today and your material is the same as mine i checked the stampings in yours with mine and they are schd. 40 weld-els not cast iron. there are some cast pieces that are schd 40 but i'm tellin you its the same material i used on my header!!!

Here is an attached file chdesign of my manifold being made.
They are not schd 40 weld-els.

Big_ben I sent you the emails
