That is my buddy doing the welding and his girl sitting down. She is going to kill me:D You are seeing shorts, dont get excited.

I was gonna ask about that last week. :D I see you finally posted them out here. Time for a trip to San Antonio to redo my shiot!

the size of the piping doesnt really effect performance other than the bigger the pipe, the more airspace..and on a 4 cylinder, more sound..I ran dual 3"s on my trans-am..thats a 6.6L...2.5" vs. 3" you wont notice any performance difference other than maybe a deeper sound..thats a big maybe

nice setup :D one question....what kind of bend was involved in going over the rear axle? and how hard would it be to make the exhaust come out angled up and to the side (jdm style). i'm prolly gonna end up going with a magnaflow.....i wish 5zigen though.

The entire system is just straight pipe and 3 "U" bends w/ two ball and socket joints for easy removal and adjustment. My buddy is the welding guru and he just cut the "U' bends at different locations to achive the proper curve. Weld the additional piece in the direction you would like the exhaust to run when taking it over the axle. That portion of the install was the most involved but not that difficult. The last ball and socket joint is the one which allows you to finalize your muffler placement. With a little maneuvering you can acheive any placement you would like.

what muffler model is that, it looks good. i am goin to have a muffler shop do same thing but let them do it cause i dont know what my turbo manny will be like. its on its way. that muffler looks killer and with the turbo will be awesome. hell i might not even put a cat on... the inspector here is to nice :D

looks good man...just watch the finish on the magnaflow. i had the same muffler on my car before i put the apex N1 on it and the damn thing got rust spots all over it even though i cleaned it once a week and the specs said it was stainless.

Those are stainless mufflers. Drawback to them is that things on the underside of the car will begin to rust, so the muffler will get surface rust on there. Try cleaning it with some Eagle 1 wire cleaner or rust remover;) Has always worked for me:D

what cat number is that? i went to random tech but they list my model and i want the one you have because mine is custom. it will be 3 in... any help would be great. thanks! (as you know im open pipe right now) need this, im sick of back firing.

peace- trav

cool, i emailed them asking, we will see what they say. i have heard nothing but good from rand tech. you sure just a cat and muffler will be ok. cause my pipes are loud, i mean loud. i pass a semi and i get looks from them...
