Im still done to have mine powdercoated red and engraved. Ill be the first in line when you start taking orders. You seem to have gotten further with this than a lot of other people/vendors who have tried doing this for us. So thanks for the time and effort!! Keep up the good work and lets make this happen.

hi all, my bad. things got busy for me and i dropped the ball on this...i need to reach out to my macinest friend/neighbor who is making these and see what the story is...he's been in FL ovet the winter...i'll email him tomorrow!

update: well like a lot of things in life this friend and i got our wires crossed..(crazy) .he thought it was a no go and i was waiting on hin to get back to me about final cost and paint options, so anyway i wrote back to him today and i'm hoping we can still get this done. i'll let you know...

yikes(wow) , just finished emailing him and he me...it's like a lot of things on the forum and in life...he doesn't want to continue on the project spring is here and he has other plans...i guess i owe so responsibility of this not getting done...i just can't believe how this ended. he made up 3 mock ups, one complete and 2 partials. he used material he had at he shop(scrap) and did spend time on it...he wants me to pay him $200 for his time?? i just can't believe it!
Do you have any templates or anything that he used to make them? Maybe I could get one of the guys here I know to fabricate some but it would be easier/cheaper if I had some template or something to give them to go off of otherwise it could be a lot of test fitting and what not.

i'm still in shock! i can't believe his attitude and that he wants me to pay him $200. if he ever metioned to me that i had to pay for the prototypes it would have been a no go right then and there....as a matter of fact, when he came back a few days later with them all done i was like wow, that was fast...he was like they're not that hard to make, i had the stock lying around for other jobs and i had nothing else to work on anyway. oh well, lesson learned(spank)
