Cush Mazda & ECU Fix...

To those who may consider it: don't even bother calling Cush Mazda about getting your ECU patched.

I've taken my car there for service, against my better judgement after the poor sales experience I had there, because they're literally 5 miles away from my house. They're done well by me so far, and they detected my hesitation problem, and notated it in the system for me...

So I called them today to see if I can get the ECU flash. They have "no record of any recall or fix being available for my car". I said, you guys probably haven't received the fix from Mazda yet. The service guy replied, "According to Mazda, there are no known issues with Mazdaspeeds at all."

Blah. I'm calling Hine Mazda - I have to be down in San Diego anyway.

I'll just jack it next time we're chillin at starbucks. I'll give u my 2 10s for the intake. Plus the weight of the box should help lower your rear end. Unless u still want the drag setup?

Well, I got my flash done at Hine Mazda this morning. One note: Call them first and make sure they have the flash downloaded already, BEFORE you take your car in.

Their connection to Mazda's server was acting up, and they were having all sorts of problems downloading it for me this morning. I turned my car in at 9am and got it back at 12:30. I wasn't TOO worried about it, and they were very nice and apologetic about it, but still.

I know how you feel though, Rodscalip4. I live literally about 5 miles away from Cush Mazda. The only good news is that I go to UCSD, so I can take my car to Hine before/after school.

NOBODY IS GETTIN THE INTAKE! And the springs will get fixed saturday! Oh btw, my turbo still works and I'm still drivin my msp peter...hehehe

I've never had a problem with the service department at Hine. Now the body shop...don't get me started. At least the VP got it all taken care of for me.
