Current Engine bay pics everyone

wires are just some duralast ones I'm using until I get my NGK ones.

I'll have an OBX headder in there as soon as the GI gets done :)
it's a somewhat old picture, the strut bar is now acutaly black instead of yellow, the mani heat sheild is using new bolts and alot of the rusted stock nuts have been replaced with new stainless steel ones.

^^the infamous, missing heatshield bolt!
lol, I acutaly found that damn bolt yesterday, just sitting in my driveway.. gawd I got real pissed when I found it, I had been looking for it for 3hours a couple days ago,by the way, incase anyone is wondering the wires are 7.5mm and the packs are positioned like that stock in the 2000 ES 1.8L editions. It's better @ preventing heatsoak so I've kept em there.

ROFL

I had that bolt replaced under warranty when I first got my car. It fell out within the 1st 6 months
honestly that dosen't surprise me.. one of the bolts I took out of there acutaly crumbled in my hands. Idk how I ever got that thing out in one piece.

My dirty engine bay..

Here is my current engine bay. It has suffered from being outside in the elements for a while. It will be cleaned and redone. In the back, you can see a clue of things to come really soon.

The mostly stock except for the rigged CAI and Quaife diffed SVT.

The bone stock (unless you count duct tape covering a tear in the intake pipe as a mod) Miata.

The Not Hardly Stock money pit known as the RX-7.

And the Totally Stock, Totally original, been to heck and back 84 GSLSE.

Not pictured is the 94 MX-6 which is equally as boring as the rest of them, minus the FC.

original motor and original tranny. Diff finally went out a couple of weeks ago. I already have a replacement in the garage waiting to go in. I want to see it go over 350,000 miles on the motor.

Rotary reliability hogwash...

You must take care of your engines very well.

I found another picture of my engine bay. It was taken about 2 hours before I hit the guardrail. Then the other picture was taken about 5 minutes after I hit the rail.
