A little off topic but why does a little screen keep popping up that wants me to connect to imgboot and enter a username and password to get into this thread? I don't think it's a virus or anything but it's been happening for almost a week now. I believe it's only this thread too.

Its not the one in his sig thats doing it... Its the red x one. Paste that iamge url into your browser and you will get requested for user and pass. Hit cancel and you will get this message "Error 401 (Authorization required) "

Edit: Its almost like that image he tried to post isnt a public image so you have to put in a user and pass to get access to it.

it bothers me to and yes if he deletes it or makes it a link, all of the annoying pop ups will go away!!!! its bugging teh crap out of me as well. At first I thought I got a virus on my computer or something. i'm always dling random crap from random sites. lol THankfully you said something about it before I did a complete boot scan with the MRI(takes about 4 hours).

Wow, that would've sucked! I really do hate computer stuff. I get pissed when my modem/router act up and it takes forever to connect to any site. Guess I'll stop with the threadjack stuff now. Glad someone else was having this problem also, I don't know what I would have done!

But can you do anything in the mean time or do you have to let it do its thing and leave the computer alone? It seems like when I do any updates or scanning the computer goes a little slower. I am using a laptop so maybe that makes a difference.

nope, can't do a damn thing with what I use. Hell your not even loaded into windows! However most anti-virus stuff you can do other crap while its scanning. Its nto recommended but you can. Nope, your compute being a laptop makes no difference. Its because your system resources are being used up by installation, scanning, updatings, ect.. ect.. which is making it slower.
