Are the cup holders removable for cleaning?

The foam bottoms of mine have soaked up all the coffee they can.

Yeah...they're pretty easy to remove.

As a side note:

One of my cup holders didn't come with a foam piece (bought the car used), so what I did was rip out the other one and cut out the material that you use as mouse pads into circles - made them a little bigger than the OEM pieces. They look OEM and are easily removable.

Heh - haven't really tested the soak factor on them. All I know is the mouse pad material grips a lot better than the flimsy foam pieces. If spillage is your concern, I'd recommend cutting circles from this:

For some reason this makes me think of the commercial where the guy is trying to drink coffee and the douche behind the wheel keeps making the car jerk. Reality? He might get three tries, on the last of which the cup would "accidentally" get jerked right out the passenger`s hand all over his upholstery. At least if I was the passenger.
