Well, following a long repast from updating my first build thread, (stfu)

(in the NA section here: http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123671187 )

and my piggyback thread on the AEM F/I.C.,

(in the Engine mgmt section:
http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123679419 )

I made some FORCED INDUCTION decisions here:
http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123712540

and a diversion with new rollers (pics)

(10) (bling)

I decided to start a fresh thread to get some feedback from everyone on the direction of the build and see what kind of feedback i get.

Current status (piss)

<SIGH>CEL(s) for EGR, O2, and misfires, etc...
Even in "limp" mode I am still getting 26-28mpg around town and upwards of 30 if i do any highway miles. (gtfo)

I haven't had time to coordinate a drop off at the shop for.. well..., most of the summer actually; still recuperating financially from the cylinder head install.

So we need to chase down some electrical gremlins there so I can
A. Pass inspection
2. Do some proper tuning / datalogging w/ AEM and Innovate WB

Been pulled over alot lately (five-0) (headshake(headshake(headshake $$$
need to pass inspection, and slow down too...

I have a number of parts assembled including the following:
- PTE SC5027E 50 trim !!
- HiBoost cast-iron turbo mani <BAM!>
- Synapse Eng. Synchronic BOV (cheers2)<BAM!><BAM!>
- Turbolife FMIC Core with rear facing end tanks <BAM!><BAM!><BAM!>
- AEM F/I.C. (installed, working out bugs)
- Worked FS02 head (modified) with Twiggy NA bumpsticks/ Kasman Gears (yes, i know about the CPS pick-up)
-626 IM and fuel rail, stock P5 injectors...for now...
-Stock bottom end w/ 63K/Auto-tragic w/ sport shifty goodness(drive)
- Lentech torque converter SCORE!http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123710891

still needed:
- Replace AWR endlink rod end...again, this time with better quality: THEN I can get a good cross balance and set up the links properly (rofl2)
- Rust stop, brake re-upgrade (smash)
- Synchronic WASTEGATE (burnout)
- Piping and DP to be fabbed on site by shop
- oil lines http://www.mazdaspd.com/resources/howto_oilreturn.html
- Switch for AEM alternating fuel map A/B
- powdercoat / other coatings
- turbo wraps / heat control
- Lentech valve body upgrade
- Strip down of spare block (anyone need parts?)
- K1 Rods. Forged, low-comp pistons
- Block treatment....
- Doc B oil pump mod / ext. press. control valve and return system

I would also like to incorporate dual cooling for my auto trans and for the pre-turbo oil supply. I hope that I can count on my shop ..../nudge to help me assemble and install a reliable approach. With all the additional piping...I think I would like to relocate the oil filter with a spin on adapter that flows STRAIGHT out of the stock filter location and not a sandwich plate. lots of extra oil capacity too!

I am thinking about going for placement on the coolers in the fog light openings. Is that ricey or no? I want to mock it up so we can check out where all the lines would be run.

-Battery relocate to trunk
-boost and AFR guages
-some touch up paint, a few int and ext small mods.
-maybe an amp for my sub box and some crossovers to properly wire my system
-winter rims project

So now its a matter of time, $$ MUCHO DINERO $$ and busted knuckles!
(mswerd)
Then I can return to the suspension needs while I build the block with forged parts, and restrain myself from running say, no more than 8 or 9 psi??
(evil)(chair)(laugh)
Well...
thoughts?
comments?

sounds ridiculous. maybe one day ill see your protege driving around and i can see its crazeeness up close.

I have only one Question..Why relocate the battery to the trunk.

You are much better off keeping that weight over the front wheels for an application that is traction limited as it is.

Just My .02.

BTW..Love the White o White look...but I told you this in your other thread as well.
It friggin' HaWT!

Sounds like a crazee amount of stuff goin on. Also diggin the w.o.w action. Good luck with the 8-9 psi thang. lol. wrench on...........

Oh, I meant good luck staying at 8-9 psi & not crankin it up. lol (at least until the bottom end is done)

I know, right??
I am thinking about sending the mani and turbine housing to Swaintech for coating. Probably turning this into an even longer timeframe until completion.

I was looking to re-balance in the interest of better weight distribution, plus I will free up space for nice clean piping and aux. lines too.

Thanks again! Your build thread is an inspiration! (headbang)

I'd friggen love to have a turbo P5, or a set or RX-8 wheels. or an RX-8 for that matter, if only i didn't get such meager paychecks.

anyway, those wheels are dope,I personally never liked white on white, but damn your car looks good like that.

Most welcome for the wheels. ;)

a thousand thanks!

I have over 3 years invested (aka wasted) in modding the ride now.
Thanks for your compliment!

SC5027 going in for a rebuild as a precaution

the good part is the shop is a PTE shop so rebuilds are not expensive

appears to have been run without an air filter as there are signs of sand abrasion inside the housing near the intake wheel
hot side was in very good condition and did not appear to have been pushed very hard, if at all.

going to send mani and exh housing into Swaintech
