great... so yeah i crashed my car cuz im retarded and decided to go looking for a cd that fell while approaching an intersection. what do i know, when i look up theres a ford explorer 10 feet infront of me
BAM ****** up my front end and the suvjust has a scratch... estimated cost for the fix was 7k... roughly 1k under kbb value (eekfu) ... so i just had them tow it back to my house...

so yeah the frame is slightly damaged anddd i can't fix it myself... so what to do...

i have brand new tires
less than 3k on my hp struts and tien htech springs
and a hell of a lot more

do you owe on the car?

if they are going to total the vehicle, find how much the will pay out. It MIGHT be worth just cutting your losses.

or find out what they will pay out, and what it would cost to buy the vehicle back. then you could fix it with the remaining monies, although youll have a salvage title.

haha thanks a lot i might pull off and sell what i can. as of now i live in a dorm and don't need a car so it might be best to sell all the stuff

and it was my dad's hand me down (got a pretty nice hand me down eh?) so yeah nothing owed on the car

sucks tho cuz i spent a good 3k or so on a few sets of tires, exhaust, suspension, and a bunch of misc. things
o well possibly look for a FS section from me soon

they're the Toyo Proxes 4 i'm sure you've heard of em around on the thread
they're stock 195/50/16 size all season with very nice grip in wet and dry just seem a little soft on the sidewalls compared to the other tires i've had on the car in the past.
