Cracks in tailgate

Both sides of mine are cracked. I filled in the cracks with CA glue and they haven't gotten any bigger. ("Cyanoacrylate", or Super Glue...)

Add me to the list, I have just discovered the first crack on mine. (rolleyes)

For reference, I am original owner, I live in a mild area, no snow, no bike racks, never garaged.

For those that have done the DIY CA glue repair. Did the glue screw up your paint in any way? I have some Zap-A-Gap, but I don't want the hatch to scream "look at what my cheap ass owner did!" LOL TIA

Sorry to bring this back from the dead.

My just purchased 2006 (made 2005) van also has issues with this.
I have the chance to get a replacement door for not too much money. The donor (2007) vin is outside the spectrum specified in the TSB.
The TSB mentions a revised design for the problematic mounting points.

Now, a few years in, are folks with 2007-2010 vans in dark color experiencing the same issue, just with some delay, or is it safe to splurge and buy the revised door?
