So I am driving on route 301 in Maryland and this fu$#%^& subaru outback is about 50 ft in front of me. When all of the sudden a rock hits the windshield about eye level just off to the left of my view and leaves about a 8 inch long crack!!!!
(I got so mad I couldnt see straight had to pull over to collect myself) All this money we pay to the DOT and I get my windshield cracked!!!
But I call my insurance co. and they say "no problem" (I am thinking "no problem" yeah my deductable is 1,000 you arent going to have to pay s#$%) but they say call these people at this time and they will come out to your house and repair your windshield for you!!!!
So I do and they come out fix the damage and now you can only see it if you really look at it, and you have to be about a foot away to see it also. and... IT WAS FREE!!! I was so surprised that they came to my house and fixed it amost perfectly and it was FREE!! Just though I should share this bad situation turned good.
I still plan to have the windshield changed but at least this will help me forget about it for a while, and put somewhat of a patch on my MP3's first boo boo.
