You know, politics are lame... but whats even more lame is to have a user banned. You know, there is nothing worse than having your companies name bashed and losing customers because of the drama. Companies should stay the hell out of the forums if they cant act like grown ups. Face it, each tuner company will have its cheerleaders. Myself have learned over the years, being a cheerleader never puts you ahead. You're better off being a ho, in bed with everyone and benefiting from the results of sleeping with everyone in the business. In the end, you have the upper hand and the smut on EVERYONE! When someone screws with you, than you show everyone their dirty laundry.

This is exactly what Jonathon is doing and i stand by him 100%. You know, we got the whole research on the fuel pump going from my simple post. I applaud Jonathon from going beyond with his own time, to introduce the solution. When he called me, he was elated by what CPE told him. Hooking him up on deals, not getting thrown under the bus by CPE, bringing the joy to every MS3/6 owner that more power can now be made. I didnt even think CPE would throw him under the bus, but guess what? In the end, he got screwed, not once but twice. Once from CPE and second from Autotek.

First of all, i think CPE owes both Jonathon and Loosh an apology. If they aren't man enough to apologize, than we as a community can ban the use of their products. In the end, who will this effect? Not us, there will always be others to offer us parts. To disrespect customers and people who help you bring products onboard will NOT get you ahead in such a small community. If this were a honda forum, that would be different, but its not.

So, what happens to CPE at this point all depends on you, the consumer. I cant believe this has gone this far and im very pissed off to hear this. Shame on you CPE, you owe them BOTH a public apology. If you think you can get away with this, think again. Im known in the hotrod community at exposing vendors like yourselves. Believe me, the way i do it isnt pretty and you will feel it. Balls in your court...

indeed. me and Kevin communicated with this quite a bit back in the day, and i begged him to call me through a PM cause i had something huge. he ended up using his wifes phone after i asked him to, cause his phone wasn't available.... now i txt her everyday

but seriously. it sucks. i was hurt and pissed off for several weeks, but I'm straight with it now. i got screwed. oh well. CP-E's business and what not will show soon enough... and if they fail as a company i will smile.

loosh - its lame you were banned. i understand a removal of the post, cause they want posts that thrive their product, not bash it. but banning you was extreme, and by your PM it sounded like an IP ban, not just a username ban. yuck.

I understand people are upset, but what are the lot of you doing to benefit the commuity right now? Stiring the pot, making sure the mob stays riled up. its riduclous and for what outcome? whats your goal? to prove the truth? I dont see proof, i see alot of bitching.
get back to the Proof, to the data, to the debate, because right now many of you guys seem like you got issues beyond fuel pumps.

I say this for NO other reason than Im someone who is annoyed by the pettyness of all of it, both sides, whatever. Someone needs to be the bigger man and step up, be the mature one and let it go, be the one to take the lead and show the way we all should be and act.

If you cant see the big picture, than its apparent, you never will. Its much bigger than some guy being pissed. Its about a company that is bullying customers and having a conflict of interest on other forums. Thats NOT how a community should operate, period.

i have nothing against and watched all your autox videos over time. Infact let be known to all that cosmic was the first person i contacted before i even posted anything. Hes a mod over there, knows what goes on. He gave me the skinny on the situation at hand...didnt understand it himself and there goes that. Hes not on my side and hes not on cpe side, just like PG is not on my side and not on CPEs side. Just making that clear.

So, we learned that CP-E can't/won't sell this particular fuel pump. With laloosh's results, maybe we don't need the Standback either.

We all know that keeping the throttle plate open is the holy grail. We already know that we can increase boost with a manual boost controller. laloosh just showed that we can keep the supply of fuel beyond 5500 RPM's.

This could put a serious damper on Standback sales.

the community does not have to be split. that is the worst thing you can do to a community like ours and will only drive any potential new vendors away from the market.

no offense, but i really resent people name dropping my company in all this. i'm very thankful if people support my company and what we do, but please stop throwing around the "PG VS CP-e" or "PG is a better company and CP-e sucks" statements. if people want to be mad at CP-e thats thier prerogative and none of my business, but please don't put the idea out there that i am attacking them or fanning people's fires here. i don't want any part of the drama, the rhetoric or the fighting. be mad all you want but please do not drag my name into it. i'm not in this to take sides. i don't even think there is a need to take sides because there really shouldn't be a conflict at all. it seems sadly though that, for all sides involved, the time for rational dialogue has evaporated and we're left with alot of bitter and angry people.

like i said, i do really appreciate everyone's support. but cooler heads need to prevail here, and honestly theres no reason why drama from another forum should spill over to this one.

I do agree youre name should not be dropped considering it has nothing to do with you, or your business. However, i do believe the community has a RIGHT to know about antics done to consumers who buy a vendors product. NO vendor shall have a person banned because they dont want to hear opinion or see facts. C'mon Ken, you got through that kind of crap at least once a quarter with someone and i dont see you out trying to ban anyone. Pg test pipe and now the fuel pumps since ive been around here.

The community isnt necessarily going to split.. CPE just wont be getting any love over here and for good reason.
