Information on the CP-E system

CP-E's Website!

Here's the raw numbers!

CP-E vs Stock HP
Peak: +25.0 WHP (Look at 6400 rpm)
Max: +25.0 WHP

CP-E vs Stock Torque
Peak: +20.0 ft/lbs
Max: +20.6 ft/lbs

Notes:
This dyno run was stopped by the speed limiter. If you note the arc of the curve, the CP-E combo is still pulling at 6500 rpm (before it goes all funky). I'm quite confident this combo goes beyond 200 WHP, possibly to 205-208 WHP before it bounces off the rev limiter.

This torque graph is absolutely incredible. For almost the entire curve the gain is a constant and consistent +20 ft/lbs...thats just utterly rediculous. I can't imagine what type of gains this setup would give on a full header/single exhaust pipe combo...it would probably rip the stock motor mounts in half.

The CP-E intake is roughly equivilant to somehow installing both an AEM intake and an Injen intake on the same car.

For 6s ATX estimates, subtract 10-15 WHP

An extra $250 on top of the price of the Injen...OUCH!! Nice gains though.

Actually this is the full CP-E system...totally new pipe, totally new fuel map. No pricing is set yet.

Hows your AF look like? The reason this particular intake/maf customizer gives such an incredible gain is partially due to the fact the Mazda 6s (3.0 V6) runs in the 10:1 AF ratio!!!!!

Normalize that to a bit more "proper" AF, and you see the results. The 6i which runs in the 11.5:1 range, doesn't get as much a gain as the same system on the 6s.

I'm sure CP-E would be willing to make one for the protege's, as long as you all showed enough interest. Here's there contact info if you'll like to hit them up for info...

man I was seriously hoping from the forum index it was saying 200 whp 6i atx(hand)

yeah the new intake can only be ran with the CPE intake or you will get cels after like 5 seconds of driving cause the intake size is HUMONGOUS compared to the injen and aem diamiter. I beleve stretch on his 6imtx was pulling almost 150 for those who don't visit the 6tech posts.
