Has anyone got the Cp-e Re-flash on a 06 Speed6? What have you experienced? How do you know this re-flash won't blow the motor? I'm looking for feedback from people that have had this done, not just crap from the cp-e website So if anyone has any intel let me know because this is definatly something I would consider. Also if you have it flashed on a stock MS6 then you add an Intake and exhaust do you need it tunned again? or re-flashed??
Thanks for your help guy's

I have the flash
I was using it w/o the standback tuner at first
the flash alone yielded a 20awhp gain for me on the dyno for peak numbers but the hidden benefits are endless as the torque curve builds quicker and holds longer not that the throttle plate stays open fully when at WOT

worth every penny(yes)

I will be getting this flash done as soon as I can! It seems like the best bang for the bug without having to do anyother major mods....

Is there any tuning or mods that must be done after the re-flash? Is there any risk of blowing the motor? will it have to be re-flashed/tunned if you do an exhaust or intake?
Thanks a million fellas!!!

the re-flash stands pretty well on its own, but you will see better gains with typical bolt ons. the re-flash is also a good hand in hand matchup with the standback for complete tuning control

Just had this mod done. Best mod completed so far. I have not had a dyno tune done yet but sotp was amazing, pulls to redline now, pulls HARDER too! I have not experienced any boost creep, gauge showing 15-16psi.
As usual CP-E has done its homework and I appreciate all the help I always get when I call them with questions. That they even put up with all my newbie lack of mechanical knowledge questions pleases me greatly.
Josh & Jordan thanks for personally taking all my calls this past week. (bowdown)

ok i'm a newb. so fill me in. in comparison with the Cobb AP, where does CP-E sit? they have done alot for the MS6 and they have great support. but how much do i have to invest to get the same results? Standback, PNP, Control Flash vs. Cobb AP. there's so much goin on right now with the MS6, I can't keep up.

the CPe fullcontrol flash is a supplement to the standback. the two go hand in hand to tune the car. delmari, i sent you a pm with alot of information on this matter, let me know what you think.

I am in the same boat as you man I know I want a good engine management but not sure what my best options are. The cpe flash is ready to go but it seems like the cobb tune will be pretty conservative and if you want true gains you are going to have to try and find some one that can do a reliable protune or a more aggressive ots map

I've been looking at the Full Control too. The things I was wondering were the same as most of the others, ie. "when I add other mods - intake, TMIC, etc., will I need to do anything with the flash?" but I was also thinking about if I take the car in for service. Will the flash void any warranty, and if the dealer decides to flash it, will I lose the Full Control?

Oh, and also does it destroy your fuel economy, or is it all just dependent on how you drive, the same way it is stock?

If the dealer finds out you have any tuning other than their own (goes for the Standback, XEDE, UniChip, COBB Accessport, FullControlFlash, Manual/Electronic boost control, etc) then they will void your warranty, ESPECIALLY if you take the car into the dealer with the above still attached to the car. You can always remove the Stanback/Xede/Unichip/MBC and EBC. The Cobb AP can be reflashed to a stock-like map, and I guess the CP-e flash could be re-flashed to stock if you mail it back to them, but it is possible for the dealer to see how many times it has been flashed, and they have records of their own. If the two dont match, bad news for you

BTW, the fullcontrolflash uses stock tuning, and the only difference is at WOT when it will open the throttle fully so under normal driving, economy should stay the same. However, power comes at the expense of economy, so you will have to ask yourself one day, do you want to go faster, or save money?

OK, thanks, that's what I was hoping. I just wasn't sure how much the computer was interfering with the throttle at normal (not WOT) times. I'd like to get the FC flash, but maybe when my warranty runs out, so I don't have to worry about going back to stock.

Under most circumstances, for simple things like oil changes, tires, brakes, etc, the dealer probably will not pay attention, and not look at the ECU. But if you go in for diagnosis, they may find it.
