Fans Kicking on too Early??

This is from a cold start, after sitting over night. As soon as I start the rig, the fans come on. Why? The engine isn't even warm yet. Is this a common thing to happen? It is causing the idle to ramp up to like 1900 upon start up cause of the extra load of the fan. Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

If you engine is identical to the MPV then your fan controller module is going outta wack, It is very common in MPVs do you have the 2.5 engine or 3l in both cases in our mpvs it is the fan module. symptom is that the fans are always running

Hey man, thanks for the reply. I dont think it is the same engine as the MPV. I think the engine was redone for the 2nd gen mazda 3's and it is the same 2.5L MZR engine in this. The fans do cut out. But they should not be coming on after a cold start up.
