WOW! What an improvement! This thing is definitely a lot flatter going through the curves since I had this installed (thanks Jason, from Corksport!) yesterday! I DEFINITELY recommend this easy modification to anyone looking to flatten their car out a little more. Easy install: Just pop out the trunk liner against the rear seats, undo the latches letting the seats fall forward, remove the two existing bolts, place the brace in, and use the replacement bolts that came with the bar in their place and you're gold! :)

I noticed an immediate and definite improvement. This car doesn't feel like it has a badonkadonk butt any more! :)

Mine will be here Thursday. I will post a full review and how-to with pics shortly after.

Also, I got some new meats and wheels, which I should have next weekend too.

pics!

after i get mah new house in the fall, i'm guHnna use some tax return in 2010 and do some MODDING to my car. first on the list is the suspension. a m5 manhandled me the other day and i wanna be like that guy. envy. what a suck it is!

i hope u can get the sarcasm from the pics reply. i would hate for u to remove your trunk liner just so i could see what i'm guessing would look like this....

Or you could do this and the rear seat pass through mod at the same time since you'll be in the vicinity.

Kendon, thanks. I like to switch it up on people. Billy Mays will wreck your s***!

yep, tunersteve's got a good point. do the fold down mod and show that brace off.

just googled bug bazooka. f'ing awesome!

So I thought the reason we don't have a pass through is because of those diagonal bars that act as braces for better handling. If the Corksport rear strut brace improves on that (which would suck because Mazda wasted space in our cars) then can you just remove those braces and have a full pass through?

You dont want to remove those braces, and the CS brace sits in front of those as a matter of fact. I need to finish my review and post pics later on. I will try to have it up by the end of the weekend.

Question?

I have a 2005 M6s hatch. Do you think I could add the CS rear strut brace without taking away truck space. Will the floor still be flat?

You may have a small bump where this connects between the two mounting points, but it only sticks up about 4" from the floorboards. You can still easily slide things in and out of the back seats without issue.
