Corksport MM Inserts. My first Mod!

I had my motor mounts installed by a repair shop. I really have to rev the engine alot in first gear so I don't stall. It definitely doesn't start as smooth as it used to. Some people have said that they could have been installed backwards, but others say the mm can't be installed incorrectly. Is this bad vibration the way it's supposed to be? Thanks.

It must be installed wrong if you are getting bad vibrations. It's not supposed to be noticable

I think the wrong insert can be forced in on the wrong side of the mount. This install should make your car EASIER to avoid stalling not harder.

I say give it a little time to settle in. If it still feels bad, then get under the car and take a look. It CAN be installed backwards. There are pictures.

You're just not revving enough and the engine is bogging. Your engine was flexing alot to get the car moving before. Now, it's being kept more in place and when you try to get the car moving with the clutch, it's going to take a tad more gas. But the positive is more power to the ground and more precise shifting without the pain of extreme vibes. Mine already broke right in, i'm almost going to order a new TRZ or AWR..

yes, i would check to see if it is installed correct first. I have the CS for about a year and at first it was quite noticable and good for getting rid of wheel hop. But it is the mildest upgrade onthe market i think. A good piece for sure! But I also am ready for a more track oriented setup, all the motor mounts package that is now available for us, And i hope my fillings fall out as long as the car is tight and the power gets to the ground!
