i just recd the inserts but the directions dont tell you which insert goes where? i dont wanna put them in backwards!!any help? Thanks

Those who put them in backwards are morons. Once you see the stock mount and look at the inserts, it's obvious.

there is a way of installing upside down. the diameters of the insert are diffrent sizes same as the mount. match up the diamaters and it is in correct...

Do these inserts cause premature wear on the engine mounts - in particular the one that was under the recall?

It actually will help preserve the rear mount, if you're worried about stress on other mounts, I would think it make things easier on the other mounts because the rear mount with the inserts will lessen engine movement. Not positive about stress on the other mounts though, but will definitely preserve the rear mount.

That's good to know. I'm looking forward to them, but am still a little worried about the amount of vibration it'll cause at idle and low RPM situations.

Honestly, the only time you might notice is when starting the car or when the AC is on. After a couple weeks when you're used to it, you won't even know it's there. Vibrations really are minimal with the inserts.
