Cork Sport 'Power Series' Tuner Computer update

I am not a tuner by any means. So I leave the vitals in the hands of the experienced tuners at Unichip. I was just told something like 3,000 cars have been tuned by this guy. :-O

What size of injectors did you end up using by the way? I haven't done the math yet to see what we'll be running.

*thanks for the info though!
I got 440 from essentialspeed

440's were our guess on what we'd need.

BTW... the switches I talked about for this unit can be mounted anywhere really. They come with a lot of wire for this reason. I'll be putting mine where the blank switch pannels are on the left next to the door. Of course I'm having to order an extra blank one to get rid of that goofy coin holder thing.

ya, I've got the cash in hand but cant decide between this and a fmic. I mean is this thing going to be worth 9 bills? Or will I be dissapointed? It's alot of cash to drop on a little MAGIC box LOL. What were your impressions oh the car before and then after it was installed??

Why are they not doing the dyno's in whp? I dont understand why you would go through all this work and not get accurate information. I still think that other products have more potential for the costs, orangezoom I will be soon picking your brain after I get my exhaust in because then I am thinking emanage :)

Not to put unichip down though because for many people they will be quite happy with it:)

Hey, do you have a thread with your e-manage dyno and such, or was that yours 2 pages ago? How's the ride quality, since you had to mess with the whole open close loop thing? I'm thinking of getting the corksport one since they are local here, I'll have them make me a intake too, a short one.

I do not want to take business from them I think they will have a great product just make sure that they are done before you get it

They should be shipping within the next week from what I understand. As I said before, each one was physically tested.

Because that's how their dyno works. How do you figure it's not accurate?

Out of curiosity... Please share what products are a better bang for your buck that are safe and can be smogged?

On the test car (intake, exhaust, Tuner Computer. Under $1,500 retail price. Dyno shows a 78hp increase. $18.58 per horse power is pretty good if you ask me.

corksport, did the exhaust u tested the MSP with come catless?
2.5 or 3 inch?
what muffler?

It was just the regular Power Series Exhaust. 2.4" no cats. It bolts to the downpipe. It's our own design with the pipe and muffler.

ok, good
that's about what i'm running right now.
2.4 with hi-flow cat.

It looks like the injector upgrade package will include (4) 440cc injectors, Holly 190 fuel pump, and of course the mapping to control it all. That is enough fuel for up around 350hp.

so its just one basic tune right?

What about people that aren't in the same weather, say a really humid area with temps in the 90s in the summer, and sub freezing temps in the winter? Is it going to adjust or are you going to risk running lean in cooler temps.
