Hey guys! I'm a 26 yr old guy in Toronto looking to buy his first new car after saving some money with his first real good well paying full time job, and I've decided I want the mazda 3.

I'm a little conflited between the GS with full upgrades + AT vs. the GT standard (no GFX). The only reason I would want the GFX is for the moonroof, I think the other options are merely cosmetic. That being said, my dealer claimed he'd never sold a GT *without* the GFX, but that's probably dealer talk...

I tested the two out and love them. I honestly don't need the power of the GT 2.3L engine but I do highly enjoy the 6 speakers and nicer interior cloth. But for slight savings with the GS, I would get a moonroof and the 2.0L engine would save on gas (plus being perfectly suitable for my needs).

With that being said can some of you please help me make up my mind? Tell me what made you decide on either/or. Thanks!

For the GT *without* the GFX is kind of true. I just have seen a couple around my area (montreal) All GT's you see around have the color matching front grill (GFX package). If you are not interested on the 2.3 get the GS with full extras.

Get a Mazda 6 with sport package, financing is much better as well if you are leasing or financing.
