Brakes arent as good as I thought they were.. and have come to the conclusion that it would be a lot nicer if the back was lowered an inch.. the front height is fine.. it needs to be balanced more I think, its front heavy. I had a full tank of gas also... if not i think i would have died today. Me and my father were on the highway, my father is a professional driver and he has yet to "test" it.. so we did.. he asked me how the brakes were right before getting off i said "good" apparently they arent as good as i bosted haha.. anyways.. he said its quick for a 4 banger and the back is to high... iono i dont know much but i did agree that it was front heavy. FWD :( i want a RWD car. I love my MSP though so dont flame. anyone agree the the front heavy issue?

Umm, wtf did you just say?

This is a FWD car, the weight distribution is 63/37. All of the weight is on the front wheels. The front brakes are smaller than the rear brakes. Hit the brakes hard enough and the car will stop, ABS works well.

Isn't it the other way around... the front brake discs are bigger than the rear?

Front brakes are smaller but they're vented. Rear are solid discs.

The weight dist. isn't that bad but the extra couple percent up front are what you get for the turbo ;)

You never really said exactly what the problem with the brakes was .. or how you noticed they weren't as good as you thought. It could be the tires ...
