I think I haven't posted the full build here at any point, but now's as good a time as any to start. Here is my 3.

Unlike most of the other flared 3's my main intention is to fit tire, not wheel. The goal with this project is to get maximum lateral G's while keeping close to 39mpg highway (the factory rating) to prove that you don't have to compromise efficiency in the name grip. In the coming months I'll be revamping the aero package, lowering the car a bit more and cleaning up all the details to get that 39 back (we're already at 37!) and gathering data of the car pulling over 1G on street tires. :)

New springs in! 550/600lbs Hyperco springs are nearing the limit of my kidneys, but theoretically better for grip balance on the track. Will test. I approached Sari Al @ GE3KSPD about shooting a set in exchange for some suspension consulting, and he replied with this:

I think he did some great work! My new ride height is a bit more photogenic as well, with the collars now turned all the way down and the plastic shims removed from the perches in order to make the new springs sit lower. Interestingly, the ride has gotten quieter since removing those shims. I thought they were for noise/harshness isolation? Meh, winning. :D
